Kaepernick Crowd Calls For NFL Boycott Over QB’s Absence from League

By Andrew West August 20, 2017

Supporters of anti-American NFL has-been Colin Kaepernick are now calling for a boycott of the league due to their player’s absence on the field.  Those who are siding with the race-baiting and police trashing former NFL quarterback are attempting to convince a wide swatch of Americans to join them in boycotting the NFL.  The “activists” believe that Kaepernick is being looked over by NFL recruiters and coaches due to the circus that he has surrounded himself with, and not just the lack of talent that caused him to fall from grace even before his anthem-centric publicity stunts.........To Read More.....

My Take - Kaepernick "deserves" a chance to continue his NFL career?  Really?  Why?  No one deserves anything they haven't worked for.  If you throw away your career who's at fault?  If you insult the boss, or refuse to follow directions, or aren't a good employee, a bad influence on fellow workers, or your actions negatively impact the bosses bottom line - would you expect to keep your job?

The Cleveland Cavaliers had a player who also refused to stand for the Pledge many years ago - didn't know that did you?  Why?  He didn't make a big public spectacle of it.  He just stayed in the locker room until it was over.  He also made it clear it was for religious principles and not meant as a disrespect for the flag or the nation.  It blew over very quickly because he was sincere.  Kaepernick and his crew wanted a spectacle for political purposes - a freedom of speech issue if you will - but the boss doesn't have to like your speech, especially when it impacts his bottom line, especially when you're exercising your freedom of speech rights on his time.

In my opinon, Kaepernick was never the quarterback he or others thought he was, and he's not going to be any better now, but he is a distraction.   But that won't be for long.  Remember  Sandra Fluke?  Remember Cindy Sheehan?  Once she served her leftist masters purposes - they disappeared.

Kaepernick will be a faint memory a year from now - so I hope he saved some of that obscene money they paid him since it's clear he's not the brightest pebble in the brook, so I doubt he's qualified for much of anything else.
