Dear Kasich Supporters in Arizona: A Vote for Kasich is a Vote for Trump

With only 145 delegates of the 1,237 needed to win the Republican nomination, and less than 1,000 delegates yet to be determined, it is mathematically impossible for John Kasich to win the nomination before the July 18 Republican National Convention.  If you support Kasich, your only path to the nomination includes keeping both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz from reaching the 1,237 delegate threshold in order to force a contested convention.

With 683 delegates, Trump is by the far the largest threat to a Kasich nomination.  Even if Kasich were to win the contests in Ohio’s neighbors (Indiana, West Virginia and Pennsylvania), there is still a good chance that Trump will accumulate enough delegates to wrap up the nomination before the convention.  This is primarily due to the winner-take-all nature of many of the upcoming primaries, including Arizona....To Read More

A Not-So-Loving Letter to John Kasich

Dear John Kasich,

It’s been a fun ride, hasn’t it? When you first came on the scene, I thought, “Who’s that guy?” Then I realized you were the reason I have a mute button on my TV. Unfortunately, after twelve debates, I had to get a new remote. I expect a refund if you’re elected president. Oh wait, you’ve been mathematically eliminated from winning. Why are you here again? 

Seriously though, at first you reminded me of an infomercial product. You know when you see that glorious merchandise on TV, and you’re initially intrigued because, for all intents and purposes, it appears to be a useful, functioning product? Then you order it, and you realize it supports amnesty for illegal immigrants. Bad analogy? I know. I just wanted to point out how you’re not a conservative.
