In this article, I'm going to reveal how transhumanism
is a dangerous, irrational death cult shrouded in the language of geeky
cybernetics. In fact, the entire idea that you can "upload your mind to a
computer" is complete junk science quackery, as you'll soon see.
In case you're new to the term, "transhumanism" means uploading your
mind to a machine, discarding your body, then achieving immortality by living
forever through machines and robots. Google's director of engineering, Ray
Kurzweil, has been pushing this cult for many years, and just recently he
promised that by 2045, humanity would achieve what he calls the "singularity,"
where our minds can be uploaded to computers. (Click

we could all discard our "fragile" human bodies and inhabit advanced
robotic systems as our new immortal selves.
Kurzweil's cult is so bizarre and dangerous that following it can only lead to
a lunatrocity of mass death and deception. Kurzweil's sci-fi cybernetic
mind-meld theories are so outlandish that they make Scientology's galactic

My Take - As I have said in the past; I think most of
Mike's thoughts are a bit loony, but I keep following his commentaries for two
reasons. One, it keeps me updated on the loony all natural crowd, and
secondly, he really hits a home run every once in a while. This is one of them.
One more thing! The human brain works at speeds computer
manufacturers only dream of, and at normal body temperatures. The highest speed computers in the world don’t
even come close and yet generate so much heat in the process that the
components would melt if these computers weren't working in an atmosphere of
frozen gasses. Does anyone really think that one problem alone is going to be
overcome in a few decades? And that is the least technical problem they will
have to overcome in order to create a computer brain that would in effect be
capable of Artificial Intelligence (AI). In order to house human intelligence
and all the capacity and components of the human brain would require a computer
brain that is capable of all those abilities.
Size, speed, heat, capacity, intellect, emotions….etc….well you get the
picture. Disabuse yourself in thinking
about all this claptrap about AI being just on the horizon. These claims are no
more credible than the claims by geneticists about having 'broken' the human
genome, maybe even less credible. It's
all hype for funding. Once again;
Scientific Integrity is an oxymoron!
