Lines in the Sand: The Occupy Wall Street Movement!

By Rich Kozlovich

Some months back I wrote this about the Occupy Wall Street movement.
“This is a scary bunch of people. They are a segment of society that only hates. They hate the Jews, they hate capitalists and capitalism, they hate the police, they hate the military, they hate the banks, they hate the pharmaceutical companies, they hate America, they hate Americans and they despise authority. But they love Muslim fanatics and communists, who epitomize authority in its most tyrannical forms. Their other big love affair is with environmentalism, which has killed almost as many people as Stalin, Hitler and Mao combined. They rail against violence of any kind while they are perpetuating it themselves. How insane can all of that be? In truth, they hate humanity....and they hate themselves. To quote Dennis Prager; "People who are haters can't be happy and happy people can't be haters". How else can you explain what they do to themselves? These people are scary, crazy, violent and self-righteous; what better definition can there be for fascists? FYI: Fascists are the right wing of socialism and communism is the left wing, but they are still two sides of the same coin. We really do need to get that!”

Remember, this was a huge number of people all over the country, including Occupy Washington D.C., and Occupy Cleveland (where five of these geniuses planned to bomb an important bridge).  A guy fittingly named Zitt, supposedly representing the Occupy Cleveland movement, claimed they are ‘dedicated to non-violence’ and that they “would have thrown them out.” Right! How can you throw out people who aren’t part of any organized group, except in name? Did anyone take a look at the number of people who were sexually molested during these occupations? There was no structure, there was no official spokespeople, there was no official positions recognized by anyone…in short…this wasn’t an organization….it was a mob. How do you throw someone out of a mob?

So, what has happened to this mob anyway? Daniel Greenfield posted an article On July 6th answering that question. He states that; “Yesterday I took a walk down to the oldest part of New York City, where the Dutch landed and planted their flag near the current location of the Staten Island Ferry, where George Washington stood his officers rounds at Fraunces Tavern, now filled with Wall Street types, and where a bunch of smelly hippies stirred by an anti-Semitic Canadian magazine decided to squat a park in order to make a statement about their own need for attention.” He noted that “Zuccotti Park has returned to its original function” but that these losers now have decided to occupy Trinity Church.

Why haven’t we heard much about this? Well this church is old and there are signers of the Declaration of Independence buried there, so this isn’t a win situation for the leftists who “Occupy The Media”, which has acted like an irresponsible spoiled child during this whole affair. It must be tough to be the “unofficial PR corps” for a movement without any coherent plan or thoughts, filled with lazy, stupid, violent degenerates that really looks, feels, and acts like an unruly violent mob.

He did find “three”….that is “three”…. of these losers sitting in front of the Trinity Church with a sign accusing the “Trinity Church of greedily sitting on 200 million dollars while refusing the homeless….of Occupy Wall Street a small measly strip of land for their campsite”. After all, according to them the Trinity Church stole this land from the indians and they represent the indians. Amazing…I wonder if the indians know that? I wonder if the Indians like that? Furthermore they “blasted Trinity for being aligned with the “1 percent” and spun conspiracy theories about its parish vestry, which they allege holds over 10 billion dollars in real estate assets”.

You gotta luv the commies. They will always revert to character. They just turned on one of their biggest supporters. During this whole Occupy insanity “Trinity was an enthusiastic supporter of Occupy Wall Street, providing them with bathrooms and private conference rooms. Now however the mob wants the churches land….”but turning over Duarte Square was asking too much.” What’s that? Giving them the land they are demanding is asking too much! Wow! Did I understand that correctly? Isn’t that what they are demanding from the rest of the world? Isn’t that what Trinity claimed to be supporting? What did they think was going to happen if these geniuses actually took over? Yet, these and other ‘religious’ collaborators; who by word and deed gave this mob of socialists, presumably atheists, the cover of the divine; are now surprised?

It never ceases to amaze me when seemingly traditional institutions align themselves with the destroyers of stability and traditional values are upset when the insanity they prescribe for everyone else is finally turned on them. What exactly do these people think is going to happen? Can they possibly be that irresponsibly stupid? Apparently so! Is it any wonder why the mainline religions are losing members? If you don’t stand for something you will stand for everything! When you stand for everything you simply must disavow the values that are foundational to your organization, whether that organization is secular or religious.  That is basic logic.  How can they be anything but doomed if their foundation is not built on stable ground.

For the believers among my readers, this Bible quote is appropriate for this topic, and for the non-believers among my readers; you will see the logic of my last statement clearly.

"Many will say to me in the day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!'

"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."- Matthew 7:22-27

If they wish to be socialists, then fine. However, if they profess to be servants devoted to disseminating Biblical understanding ….they have a problem. In fact…the Episcopalian Church has a lot of problems. The Episcopal Church is part of Anglican Communion with its roots going back to the English Reformation and the Church of England, where the Archbishop of Canterbury slammed Christians who feel ‘disgusted’ about homosexuality. (Additional information here)

No matter what a person’s views are on this subject, one must acknowledge this one incontrovertible fact. The Bible condemns homosexuality, and it isn’t just “Pauline Christianity” as some critics claim. This has been the moral imperative on this subject throughout Bible history.

So then, if one who professes to be a servant of the Supreme Being; and the understanding of that Being and his views are presumably presenting in the Bible; then one would think that they would know what the Bible has to say on the subject, believe what the Bible says on the subject, and act accordingly. Don’t you think?

If they disagree, which in America is perfectly acceptable, then they have to leave their organization. Don’t you think? That is unless their organization has now become as confused as their leader. So, the question that should come to mind to the most casual observer is this; if they can’t get the correct understanding on a morality issue that is so clearly outlined in what is supposed to be their foundational text, why would we expect them to get anything else right?

This OWS movement has clearly drawn lines in the sand. It can be credited with clarifying for the public the social, economic and moral positions of individuals and organizations. For that, humanity can be grateful. The news media, political parties, religious organizations are now exposed, one way or the other. There is no hiding behind misleading words and phrases.

If you stand side by side in support of the insane; then you are part and parcel of that insanity. And thanks to the Occupy Wallstreet Movement, we now absolutely know where everyone stands.
